Quick mode selects one question from each of the ten bounded reaction-family clusters.
ORGANIC CHEMISTRY · ONE-STEP REACTIONS · MIXED PRACTICE
Retrieve across all ten reaction clusters with coverage-controlled quick and mastery sets drawn from the complete forty-question one-step reaction bank.
Why this mix works
Quick mode selects one question from each of the ten bounded reaction-family clusters.
Mastery mode selects one question for each of the three One-Step objectives inside every cluster: thirty questions total.
Mixed order removes the lesson cue, so substrate, reagents, conditions, product, and selectivity must identify the rule.
A new seed changes selected questions and answer positions while preserving every validated reaction and coverage target.
Balanced mixed retrieval
Both modes give immediate explanations and private issue reporting. Results remain on this device and do not estimate a DAT score.
Each mode preserves its coverage target, then shuffles question order and all five choices without changing any validated reaction key.
Sources and limits
The One-Step topic and named reaction cues come from the ADA Organic Chemistry specification ↗. The ADA does not publish cue-level quotas, so DAT TRAIN does not invent them.
Free OpenStax reaction chapters support each mapping. DAT TRAIN questions and explanations are original, draft, uncalibrated, and not copied from the DAT.
