SURVEY OF THE NATURAL SCIENCES

One clock.
Three disciplines.

The science section is not three separately timed tests. Biology, General Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry travel together inside one 100-question, 90-minute boundary.

DAT TRAIN PRACTICE LAYOUT

Keep the counts fixed.
Let the questions rotate.

The official contract establishes one shared clock and the 40/30/30 inventory. For reproducible practice, DAT TRAIN keeps the three disciplines in contiguous blocks while drawing each block from its existing completion-form source.

    QUESTIONS 1–40

    Biology

    40questions selected from 600

Questions and answer choices stay tied to the original Biology source. Selection and display order can change without changing what any question means.

SECTION BEHAVIOR

A clean rehearsal
needs clean boundaries.

The integrated section preserves the parts that matter on test day while keeping interpretation honest. No internal content weighting is presented as official.

01

One section clock

All one hundred questions share the same ninety-minute countdown. There is no separate official clock for an individual science discipline.

02

The published split

Every integrated form keeps forty Biology, thirty General Chemistry, and thirty Organic Chemistry questions.

03

Answers after the section

Correct answers, explanations, and performance breakdowns stay hidden until the complete science section is submitted or time expires.

04

Raw evidence only

Results remain correct counts by discipline and domain. They are not converted into an official DAT scale score or percentile.

THE REAL PACING SKILL

Carry the clock.
Change the reasoning mode.

Biology often rewards broad recognition, General Chemistry adds quantitative and model-based decisions, and Organic Chemistry asks for structural and mechanistic discrimination. The shared clock keeps moving as the reasoning changes.

Use the separate completion forms to stabilize each discipline first. Then rehearse switching mental models without treating an arithmetic per-question average as a rigid rule.

SOURCE PRACTICE

Strengthen each block.
Then join the section.

Each contributing form keeps its native science diagrams, equations, answer explanations, recovery, and raw reporting.
